Below are five areas that we believe God desires us to specifically focus upon as we fulfil our mission and move forward into a more focused and fruitful future as a local church;

1. To be a church that has Prayer as our heartbeat:

We want to see prayer become the first priority in everything we do; the actual power and pump that we rely on to survive and thrive.

We want to see our prayer gathering become an increasingly vital and vibrant event in the life of the church, to serve as a clear and visible expression of our corporate heart.

2. To be a church that is a gift to our community:

We want to have a growing impact in the local community for the sake of the Gospel.

We want to deliberately explore and prayerfully consider how we can better reach out and support our local community in the Name fo Jesus, including making our Small Groups more mission minded.

3. To be a church that is built for growth:

We want stronger structures that enable life-long discipleship, including effective provision for new Christians.

We want to eb a church that makes better use of available resources to equip and release those disciples for ministry and mission.

4. To be a church that plants another church:

We want to create a church planting culture and expectation at The Bridge Church as one aspect of our commitment to the Great Commission.

We want to prepare the budget, people and structures to enable future church planting and we want to actively pray and seek God’s direction for future opportunities.

5. To be a church that is increasingly generous:

We want to make a commitment to year on year increase in our corporate giving to external projects, organizations and activities (initially 3% increase per year which will grow our external giving to 30% by 2019). And we want to encourage this growing approach to giving as a model for the church.

We want to seek opportunities to be more generous in our community with our financial and practical resources.
